A few announcements for the group

First of all, we are a bit late on our January feature, so sorry about that.  

We will have February's feature sometime soon.  IF you haven't checked out the participants and the winners of our Twisted Cupid Contest, check them out here :

Twisted Cupid EntriesWe are in the process of voting for our winners for the Twisted Cupid contest.
We had some awesome and fabulous works submitted.  Congrats to all of the participants, for they all did a great job.  Take a look at the entries. 
If you have a personal fave, send me a note as to why that particular work stands out to you.  Remember, the theme is Twisted Cupid, keep that in mind.  We would like to get the members involved.  The admin staff already have the works they are voting on for placement, but as members, pick a work that you personally like and send me a note as to why you love that work. :iconpjenz:
If you dont see your work here, it is probably because you submitted to the wrong folder and/or you did not put in your description that it was for the contest with the thumbnail of the contest.  if that is the case, you need to contact me immediately. :iconpjenz:
We will be announcing the winners in a day or so.  I have the flu, it finally caught   Twisted Cupid WinnersWe received so many fabulous and awesome works, it was hard to choose from.  Your admin team has finally picked our winners for our Twisted Cupid contest.  Please take a few moments to congratulate them and show them some love. 
Donators, I will be sending you notes for distribution of prizes.
All entries submitted were subjected to a vote as they were not unanimous.   
Winners were decided by execution, interpretation, and above all, following the requirements for each option.
Again, thank you all for you great submissions and I personally loved them all and thought you all did a great job!  I loved each idea, each range of creativity, and I loved to see how you interpreted the options.

Also, our first Secret Valentine event was fun.  If you haven't checked out the awesome works made for other members, check them out here:
Secret Valentine SubmissionsAs you all know, we hosted our first Secret Valentine Event.
We had alot of fun, many of us going outside or normal comfort zone to create works especially for a particular member. 
Take a look at the fabulous submissions and thank you all for participating.

Also, we want to hold an Easter contest.  First, I have to check to see exactly when Easter is lol, second, we need to think of themes.  We have a few ideas, so we are going to put a poll up on the groups' front page for everyone to choose an idea, if one is not on the list, you can always suggest an idea.  We are looking for fun and creative, not like the same old type of contest, we look for twists and creativity.  So keep a look out.

Lastly, as we are expanding more, we are looking to fill 2 administrative positions at the group.  No experience is necessary, but applicants should be good standing members of the group, and most importantly, encouraging and supportive artists.  The position is basically to help with group submissions, the more help we have on that front, gives the rest of the admin time for features, contests and fun stuff for the group.  It's a great way to get experience if your interested in the group thing, and a great way to meet new artists and friends here on DA.  It also helps with learning any new techniques and improving one's own art at the same time as supporting other artists.
